Siva P. Tayi founded Sai People Solutions, Inc. (formerly Sai Software Consultants, Inc.) in September 1984. The business was incorporated in 1986 in the State of Texas. Sai is certified as a minority-owned business by the Houston Minority Business Council and several other regional councils, who are all members of the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC).

Presently, Sai has over 350 full-time employees located throughout the United States and in India. In addition to our headquarters in Kingwood, TX (suburb of Houston, TX), we have office locations in Atlanta, GA; Colorado Springs, CO; Dallas, TX; Denver, CO; Des Moines, IA; Houston, TX; Manchester, NH; Philadelphia, PA; Raleigh, NC; San Francisco, CA; and Washington, DC. Our international office is located in Hyderabad, India.

1993	Recognized by Inc. Magazine – listed on the Inc. 500 as one of the nation's top 500 fastest growing companies.
1997	Sai's CEO received Ernst & Young's Regional Entrepreneur of the Year in High Technology and Telecommunications award. Received ISO 9002 certification.
2002	Changed name to Sai People Solutions, Inc. in 2002, allowing us to expand our vision and branch into other areas.
2003	Winners of Houston Minority Business Council's 6 th Annual E-10 award. Renewed ISO certification to ISO 9001:2000.
2004	Put into service a full-fledged overseas operation in Hyderabad, India.
2005-2006	Implemented technological innovations such as an online vendor management system and an online internal recruitment database. Currently, we are expanding our client base for our Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) services.
