1. Job Title: Application Systems Consultant
Experience: Bachelor's Degree (BS or BA) Computer Science. 8 or more years of experience or equivalent proficiency level in analysis. In-depth knowledge of 1 or more application systems.
Functional Responsibility: Consults or assists with application system projects to reduce costs and improve service through improved processes and the effective application of software options consistent within the business and IR strategies. May be active in vendor management.

2. Job Title: Application Lead
Experience: Bachelor's Degree (BS or BA) Computer Science. 7 or more years of experience or equivalent proficiency level in analysis, design, programming, testing, and implementation 2-5 years of experience working in partnership with the business user to provide technical solutions to business problems. Position may require supervisory experience
Functional Responsibility: Identifies projects with key business partners, performs project definition, and manages 1 to many medium to large projects. Is responsible for analysis, development, and support for computer software to meet the needs of the business. Is responsible for client/user/partner interaction and satisfaction. Has a detailed understanding of the organization(s) being supported and IR's role in the business's mission. Has specialized knowledge in one or more areas. May provide supervision for development support staff in the areas they focus in. May play a role in vendor management.

3. Job Title: Data Analyst
Experience: Bachelor's Degree (BS or BA) Computer Science. 3 or more years of experience or equivalent proficiency level in application development and/or support. 1-3 years of experience working with data warehouse/data mart implementations.
Functional Responsibility: Works under close supervision in support of data warehouse/data marts and related tools to meet the development teams and business users needs. Has general understanding of data structures utilized by applications of the organization(s) being supported and IR's role in the business's mission.

4. Job Title: Sr. Data Analyst
Experience: Bachelor's Degree (BS or BA) Computer Science. 5 or more years of experience or equivalent proficiency level in application development or database support. 3 years of experience working with data warehouse/data mart implementation or support.
Functional Responsibility: With limited supervision, supports data warehouse or data marts and related tools to meet the development teams and business users' needs. Has in-depth understanding of the data structures utilized by applications of the organization(s) being supported and IR's role in the business's mission.

5. Job Title: Data Conversion Specialist
Experience: Bachelor's Degree (BS or BA) Computer Science. Experience supporting one or more Application Systems Analyst/Programmers in addition to the tools applied.
Functional Responsibility: Will design the solution to meet your requirements, recommend the appropriate tools, and provide a high-level project plan for approval before work begins.

6. Job Title: Data Modeling Specialist
Experience: Bachelor's Degree (BS or BA) Computer Science. 4 or more years of technical experience in data modeling, analysis, and programming of computerized databases.
Functional Responsibility: Designs, implements, and maintains moderately complex databases with respect to the operating system, access methods, access time, device allocation, validation checks, organization, and statistical methods. Maintains database dictionaries and integrates system through database design.

7. Job Title: Database Administrator
Experience: Bachelor's Degree (BS or BA) Computer Science
Functional Responsibility: Works under general supervision in support of databases and related tools to meet the needs of the development teams and business users. Has a general understanding of the organization(s) being supported and IR's role in the business's mission.

8. Job Title: Sr. Database Administrator
Experience: Bachelor's Degree (BS or BA) Computer Science. 5 or more years of experience or equivalent proficiency level in database development or administration.
Functional Responsibility: Works under general supervision in support of databases and related tools to meet the needs of the development teams and business users. Has a solid understanding of the organization(s) being supported and IR's role in the business's mission.

9. Job Title: Documentation Specialist
Experience: High School diploma, plus technical writing course work. 3 or more years experience in preparing and maintaining technical documentation.
Functional Responsibility: Prepares and/or maintains systems, programming, and operations documentation, procedures, and methods. Maintains an up-to-date internal documentation library. Provides or coordinates special documentation services as required.  

10. Job Title: IT Associate
Experience: Bachelor's Degree (BS or BA) Computer Science
Functional Responsibility: Entry-level position. Is responsible for support of computer software or hardware to meet the needs of the business. Works to understand the organization(s) being supported and IR's role in the business's mission.

11. Job Title: IT Support Associate
Experience: Associate Degree or Equivalent Computer Science. Working knowledge of the following Operating Systems/Platforms/Applications IBM MVS, Microsoft Windows, Win NT, NT Servers, Microsoft Office, SAP. 0 – 2 years of experience, or equivalent proficiency level in Help Desk support, computer hardware support, or process and logistics administration.
Functional Responsibility: Responsible for providing accurate status information and performing escalations or first level support for reported problems, issues, requests, questions. Properly route all second level cases to applicable support groups. Provide quality customer service via direct interface with internal IR customers, support groups, and management to collect and understand pertinent information to effectively drive resolution and closure of work. Works to understand the organizations being supported and IR's role in the business mission. Alternatively, provide first level support and facilitation functions of processes that are of a logistical nature and require monitoring and high level administration and follow-up. Examples of these would be purchasing and tracking of I.T. assets, warranty administration and basic system access administration.

12. Job Title: Sr. Help Desk Analyst
Experience: Bachelor's Degree (BS or BA) Computer Science. Strong working knowledge of the following Operating Systems/Platforms/Applications: IBM MVS, Microsoft Windows, Windows 2000, Win NT, NT Servers, Microsoft Office, SAP.
Functional Responsibility: Responsible for providing quality first level support and directions for reported problems, issues, request, and questions. Properly route all second level reported work to applicable support groups. Interface directly with internal customers, support groups, and management to collect and understand pertinent information to effectively drive resolution/closure or work. Provides help desk analysts with training and direction for the resolution and routing or problems. Develops, maintains and disseminates pertinent support documentation. Works to understand the organization(s) being supported and IR's role in the business mission.

13. Job Title: Network Operating System Specialist
Experience: Bachelor's Degree (BS or BA) Computer Science. 8 or more years of technical experience in software development, 5 years of which are in network operating systems and 2 years in a technical lead role.
Functional Responsibility: Formulates/ defines specifications for complex operating system software programming applications or modifies/maintains complex existing applications using engineering releases and utilities from the manufacturer. Designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documents operating system software. Responsible for applications dealing with the overall operating system. May direct and review the work of other systems analysts and programmers. Supports quality assurance review and evaluation of new and existing software products. May act as a project leader.

14. Job Title: Programmer / Analyst
Experience: Bachelor's Degree (BS or BA) Computer Science. 1 or more years of experience or equivalent proficiency level in programming or support.

16. Job Title: Project Manager
Experience: Bachelor's Degree (BS or BA) Computer Science. 2 or more years of experience assisting a Project/Program Manager in the management of a contract, project, or task. Requires knowledge of experience using specialized financial and project tracking software systems in addition to commercial off-the-shelf office automation software packages.
Functional Responsibility: Responsible for providing management assistance for planning and executing a project. Assist the Project/Program Manager during the preparation and maintenance of project schedules and budgets. Prepares and delivers status reports or reviews. Tracks staffing, budget, prioritization, and other personnel matters for the Project/Program Manager.

17. Job Title: Project Director
Experience: Bachelor's Degree (BS or BA) Computer Science. Combination of 10 years I.T. experience, including 3 years of experience in a management or supervisory capacity, plus 3 years of experience in the functional area of the project to be managed.
Functional Responsibility: Responsible for planning and executing a project. Prepares and maintains the project schedule and budget. Prepares and delivers status reports to the customer. Primary point of contact for the customer. Oversees all work and takes corrective action as necessary to ensure project success. Manages staffing, budget, prioritization, and other personnel matters. May serve as technical lead for the project.

18. Job Title: Systems Analyst
Experience: Bachelor's Degree (BS or BA) Computer Science. 4 or more years of experience or equivalent proficiency level in analysis, design, programming, testing, and implementation.

Position may require supervisory experience.
Functional Responsibility: Is responsible for analysis, development, and support for computer software to meet the needs of the business. Performs project definition and management. Is responsible for client/user/partner interaction and satisfaction. Has a detailed understanding of the organization(s) being supported and IR's role in the business's mission. 26. Job Title: Testing Specialist
Experience: Bachelor's Degree (BS or BA) in Computer Science or Engineering. 7 or more years of experience in an area of specialization associated with the requirement. Experience with Government and industry standards, testing, processes, procedures, methodologies, or tools that support analysis as relative to the requirement.
Functional Responsibility: Provides minimally supervised support for difficult testing, analysis, and evaluation assignments. Performs analysis and evaluation of existing or proposed processes, applications, systems, or software. Performs and and/or may direct project planning, scope, control, management, tracking, or review. Performs analysis and evaluation throughout the process, application, system, or software development life-cycle which includes, but is not limited to: planning, requirements, design acquisition, development, integration, installation/deployment, performance tuning, testing or training, Performs, or may direct, document development/preparation at various stages of a project life-cycle. Facilitates meetings such as joint application development sessions to support the analysis process. Serves as a liaison between functional and technical specialists.
